We started as specialists in Chinese translations, but it wasn’t long before clients asked for other languages. Contact us directly for any language or dialect that you do not see listed below.
The look and feel of a product or service, including its translation, needs to feel local to a Chinese audience if there is any chance of breaking into the hyper-competitive China market. However, localize too much, and you may compromise your brand’s image. Fail to localize enough, and the product may not be to the tastes of the Chinese consumer.
CTS has over 20 years of experience helping foreign businesses localise for the China market. We take the time to get to know you and your business, making sure that your brand’s tone of voice fits your overall strategy.
We have helped thousands of clients localise their documents, apps, websites, software, and videos. Get in touch to learn more about our services.
One of the most common questions we get from clients is whether they should translate their documents into Simplified or Traditional Chinese.
The answer depends on your target market. Simplified Chinese is used in Mainland China, Malaysia, and Singapore, whereas Traditional Chinese is used in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau.
Generally speaking, Chinese natives can read and understand both Simplified and Traditional Chinese but will find the less familiar variant a bit strange due to differences in vocabulary and terminology. This is why we will ask you to specify the target market(s) when you place an order with us.
Our clients praise us for our accurate translations, personable service, and on-time delivery.
