We provide professional transcription services for all audio and video files.
We started as specialists in Chinese translations, but it wasn’t long before clients asked for other languages. Contact us directly for any language or dialect that you do not see listed below.
At CTS, we offer free of charge proofreading on our transcription services because we believe that when a client entrusts us with a project, they expect it to be done perfectly. This is not standard practice in the industry, which usually charges additional fees for the same level of service.
Each recording is transcribed by an experienced transcriptionist and proofread by a second linguist for accuracy and completeness. For an additional charge, we can insert time codes into the transcript. We can also translate the transcript if required.
Our clients love working with us because of our “proofreading as standard” philosophy. Get in touch by phone or email to start your next project.
At CTS, we make it our responsibility to eliminate inaudibles by re-listening to all unclear audio, and we certainly don’t give up easily.
However, if we have tried everything, including slowing down the audio, researching on Google, and using software to remove the background noise, we will, unfortunately, need to use the dreaded [inaudible] tag. If we are unsure about a particular word, we may use [word] to let the client know that we have made an intelligent guess and that it requires special attention.
The main factors that may cause us to use square brackets include overlapping speakers, accents, background noise, and poor-quality recording.
Our clients praise us for our accurate translations, personable service, and on-time delivery.
Here are some of the amazing things they have said about working with us.
